Clark works for Zend by Perforce as a Senior Professional Services Consultant, helping clients innovate, meet business needs, and build better web applications through architecture and performance audits, mentoring in software development best practices, and guiding them using PHP and Zend Server to build, deploy, and manage web apps and services. Currently, he's performing multi-million line codebase migrations to current versions of PHP and frameworks. He began programming in Motorola 6809 assembler and BASIC an uncomfortably long time ago, studied everything from distributed computing to databases to AI in grad school, wrote embedded software for the Defense Department and NASA, took up PHP in 2005, and was introduced to the IBM i and its community in 2012. He enjoys the fresh, open source breezes blowing across the IBM i landscape.
